In 2006 business partners Alex Simmons & Daniel John Aka Danny Bond had a vision that Leeds was missing a vital part of the clubbing jigsaw. After throwing around various ideas they decided Leeds needed a Thursday night event that was "by the people for the people", resulting in the birth of Habit.


It was one of the first events to embrace the electro sound that was set to take the nation by storm, electro was still sexy, still vocal but with a dirty twist that rippled through your body and twisted your mind, body and soul. Habit’s music policy was and still is the same, playing tracks with no snobbery and welcomed anyone with a positive attitude and love for good music!


Habit now approaches it’s 5th birthday with an illustrious clubbing CV of touring various venues across the North with the highlights including supporting Deadmau5 & Swedish House Mafia as well as 52 weeks a year residency at our native home ‘The Space’. We now invite you to our 5th Birthday celebrations that will be held at our native home . These parties will feature all the DJs and performers who have played a key role in making Habit what it is today,thank you for all your support over the years we wouldn't be here without you.

On the 21st April HABIT reaches the 5 year milestone! To help us celebrate and party hard will be a selection of the Dj's that have played a part over the past fives years in defining and making HABIT what it is! The infamous HABIT pyjama party also makes a welcome return for an all night sleepover, we will be open from 10pm all the way through to 8am! Get your thinking caps on as the best PJ outfit wins a free bottle of champagne!
