Humanity �‪�‬ Ishani Patel

Humanity:-
We've seen people using this word every now and then, we've seen them claiming how strongly they believe in humanity. I wonder whether they're aware that kindness and care are two of the concept of humanity only. Humanity doesn’t only talk about being good towards your family or loved ones or another human, it moreover addresses the act of kindness towards every other living creatures as well. Everything has a spirit and it has to be honoured. It also addresses not to punish them for their innocence, also who are we to Punish them ? What gives us the right to punish them ?
We all are aware of the incident that took place in Kerala. Stuffed crackers into pineapple and fed it to the pregnant elephant. That elephant apparently seemed calm, trustworthy and harmed no one. One should never forget that it’s no right of anyone to take other’s life, that too in that case it was two lives. The thing is that when we learn to treat other animals better, we may learn to treat each other better. Do not keep humanity to your beliefs only. Act upon your belief too.
