I'm Engaged LaGrange First Church of God

We must be aware of the effects the church can experience becoming disengaged. We become disengaged when we forget the love of God in our life. We can do all the right things, for the wrong reasons. And if we do not remember the right reasons, all the things we do will feel wrong, and thus become wrong.

We often think about the great commission being about evangelism (Telling people about Jesus) and the outcome to bring salvation. But the great commission is far harder, as it’s about discipleship, and the sanctification of new believers which people feel even less equipped to do - Release is Hard.

Our goal is to be a church that does reward just memorizing a bunch of Bible verses. Our desire is for each one of us to always be Building in our knowledge of the Bible. We want to be a church community that is always building DISCIPLES THAT ARE ALWAYS SHINING BRIGHTER INTO OTHERS.

Continuing on how we get engaged in the Body we will pick up on Recognize and we will move to CONNECT.

Once we RECOGNIZE who HE is we who KNOW who we are in HIM and we can RESPOND by following HIM and RECOGNIZING the value in others.
