Before becoming a buddhist nun she had a high flying job as an investment banker and she was a corporate hustler just like us. Until one day she was held hostage at gunpoint in a hotel room in Jakarta, Indonesia. That incident and the trauma she went through later,  made her question her life purpose and how she wants to contribute to this world.
