I am joined by Eli Beer, founder and president of the renowned United Hatzalah Israel, the worlds' fastest and most forward-thinking medical response organisation.

Eli has won numerous awards; Champion of Human Life life award, Peace in the Middle-East award and Young Global Leader award to name but a few. He invented the worlds fastest ambulance, known as the Ambucycle and has held TedMed talks on his innovation. 

Although Eli has ultimately achieved his dream, he stops at nothing! He continues to expand and widen his organisation; providing rescue assistance all over the world, whilst their four-legged volunteer assists in their Psycho-trauma unit.

In this episode I am joined by the Holocaust survivor, author of the widely acclaimed book and The Sunday Times bestseller, 'Lily's Promise' and Tik Tok sensation, Lily Ebert, together with her great grandson Dov Foreman. 

Lily, a 97 year old warm, resilient and inspirational lady with shining eyes, movingly recounts her happy childhood in Hungary to the horrors she endured in the concentration camp of Auschwitz. Lily talks about her absolute determination in keeping her sisters and herself alive, her small but necessary acts of defiance, the secret she kept close to her and the promise that she made - and why that promise is so prevalent today. 

Dov, aged 17 tells us of his determination to help his great grandmother Lily spread her story and message to the world, and by doing so how he has turned his great grandmother into an internet sensation along the way! He tells us of some surprising reactions he has received online and why it is increasingly important to stand up to hate.
