[Mental Health Awareness Week 2022] Living with Schizophrenia (feat. Amy Kang‪)‬ Chrysalising

    • 自我提升

Amy lived with schizophrenia for a large part of her life.

Before her diagnosis, it was hard for her and her family to understand what was actually happening. Part of it wondering if it was a spiritual possession, and the other part of it wondering if she was crazy.

After her diagnosis, and gaining more awareness of her mental health condition, Amy gained steady improvements in her mental health. There are still good moments and bad moments and many moments of uncertainty.

Through the learning and practice of Chinese Metaphysics such as Qimen Dunjia and Bazi, the journey supported her in gaining greater self awareness and she is better able to manage her thoughts and her emotions and regulate her behaviours, actions and habits.
