    Talking Self Acceptance with Charlie

    Talking Self Acceptance with Charlie

In this episode I talk to Charlie from your time to grow. She is a careers coach. Great if you're on parental leave and want to change career, but not sure what to.

We talk about self acceptance. What that actually means and why we benefit from accepting ourselves.
We talk about how we can make any attribute positive or negative and to reframe the language we use about ourselves.
We talk about ways to change behaviours you dont accept but to accept that it's a journey and not to expect it to be changed/gone within a day.

Charlie's is taking to me whilst her little one sleeps on her lap and so you hear her sniffles in the background a few times.
If you want to find out more about what Charlie does or follow the inspiration ahe gives, you can find her at 'your time to grow' on social media. Or her website. www.yourtimetogrow.com

Its such a great listen, I hope you like it, as always leave a comment and let me know what you think.

    Dont compare yourself to others

    Dont compare yourself to others

Short podcast I recorded at the start of term when I first felt different for my parenting choices. I was struggling with mixed feeling about not wanting to send Lana to school but feeling like we were so different from others. My message today is to not compare yourself with others. Do what is right for your family and do it intentionally. As always follow me on Instagram and leave a comment to let me know what you think and message me if you'd like to be a guest on a future podcast. Thank you for listening.

    I don't like Role Play!

In today's episode I talk about why role play is so beneficial to our children, yet I hate doing it. And how I am often stuck between not wanting to play but wanting Lana to gain from the experience of Play. So I talk about how I have put certain techniques in place to make sure Lana still gets those opportunities but I don't have to spend my whole day playing. I hope you enjoy it. And as always please find my Instagram page, 'raising myself' and follow more of my journey there.
