Avril, who is currently the Country Lead for the Jacobs Foundation in Ghana, discusses how community engagement and participation are crucial to improving school effectiveness. She makes a case for enabling community stakeholders to take responsibility for school effectiveness by identifying roadblocks to effective teaching and learning.
