In the fifth episode of the Science Will Tell podcast, we explore two topics: Teaching the Teachers and Access for the Next Generation of Leaders. Our teachers are the biggest conduits to motivating students and the next generation of scientists. What challenges do they face in making sure they have all the tools, resources and know-how they need to do their jobs? Then, listen in for a discussion on what we can do to ensure retention in the STEM field, as well as insight from a guest on what first sparked their curiosity in science and how they stayed engaged in this field throughout their careers.

After our discussion on providing global access to science in the last episode, we examine the topic through the lens of enabling access for underserved communities. The definition of underserved means different things in different parts of the world. Before we can provide access, we will need a holistic view to define problems and therefore fitting solutions.
