In this video, Zoe and I look back 9 years at our pre-marriage courtship relationship and how it flourished into love and the commitment to marriage. We took serious approach to our relationship, we wanted to build it to the glory of God and for the purpose of fulfilling our calling. We were eager to do it based on God’s ways not the ways of this world or the accepted cultural norms. We were also keen to ensure we understood what we were doing and didn’t blindly follow religious rules while also avoid merely following our fluctuating feelings.

Sexual purity is about the heart first not the body. When we met Jesus we give him our heart, he continually purifies it. The state of our heart inside flows into our body and conduct outside. In this video I discuss 5 proofs that Christian sexual purity is concerned with the heart not the body. For example, virginity is a state of the heart not the body.

As a Christian the Biblical truth on sex and relationships can appear confusing, religious and even impossible, especially considering cultural norms. However, Jesus has a lot to say on the topic and the Bible has clear standards for success in this very area.

In this video I begin our Sexual Discipleship series by explaining how sexuality and the whole bit intersects with discipleship, becoming mature in Christ. God uses everything in life to train us in righteousness, including sexuality, single-hood and marriage.
