This pod is struggling - I think Liz and Matt are each great independently, but the show is turning into what amounts to couples counselling. It’s just too much low key bickering and not enough content anymore. Get Pianow or Behrens back on the show to at least inject another dynamic. I’ve really enjoyed the show in the past but I feel every week I hear about how Matt doesn’t have to do rankings - okay, that’s great - but why should we care? Play to your strengths, you’re a phenomenal analyst and your reception perception segments are outstanding! But the filler in between is exhausting to deal with. Liz you’re entertaining, but play the host, there’s a little too much “that’s what I had in my notes” which really is just regurgitated narrative from other pundits. Anyhow - producer Brett, I hope you tighten up the show because I can’t see how ratings are trending in the right direction.
