    It's OKAY to not feel OKAY !!

    It's OKAY to not feel OKAY !!

    We all showcase our happy moments, our moments of victory, and pride but fail to even express our low, sad and embarrassing moments. Why is that? Because we think that it’s a sign of weakness to express our low moments.

    But in reality, it’s a sign of ultimate strength to recognize your overwhelming emotions and trying to just get through the day. I think that people who are dealing with a mental health problem and still managing to function normally are the ultimate heroes.

    Because everybody can brag about their strengths and victories, but it takes the utmost courage to even talk about your weaknesses and accepting that its normal to feel low sometimes.

    A Friendly Reminder!

    Whenever you feel low, just remind yourself that it’s okay to feel whatever you are feeling. Nobody can stay happy or sad all the time. Your emotions and feelings are justified and if someone says that you are ‘over-reacting’, you don’t have to take it personally, because you cannot justify your emotions to others completely and that’s okay. You should acknowledge your emotions be it happy or sad because acknowledging your emotions is the first step towards your mental wellbeing!

    After acknowledging your emotions, don’t rush yourself to feel all happy and chirpy soon, because rushing your emotions mean that you are not comfortable on your low days and you want to escape that ASAP.

    Obviously, nobody likes to feel anxious, depressed or overwhelmed. Everybody wants to stay positive and happy, but life doesn’t work like that. We all are a work in progress and you have to remind yourself that you are mentally, emotionally, and physically strong and you are allowed to feel whatever you are feeling.

    One bad day doesn’t mean a bad life

    Even if things are not going your way lately, you are experiencing financial or personal losses or any other stressful situation that you are in, just remind yourself that its okay to be going through a lot.

    You can overcome that with your mental strength. Don’t judge yourself in that situation. Instead, befriend yourself and tackle that problem strongly.

    Be grateful that you have a life in the first place. Because there are some people who wish to be in your place. Gratitude will always help you to broaden your perspective and you can learn a lot from that situation and grow!

    Just remember gratitude over anything.
