Waiting for Cancer to Come is a nonfiction work that tells the compelling and inspiring stories of women who are struggling with their high risk for cancer. Based on interviews and surveys of over sixty diverse women, Waiting for Cancer to Come explores family crises, personal empowerment, secrets and revelations, difficult surgeries, and everything that comes with a positive BRCA test.
