You think God's pursuing you in order to bonk you? Maybe it's God's blessings chasing after you.

Here’s an image that fills me with wonder—a tidal wave of praise to the Lord which kicks off, gathers force as it circles the globe, and results in a world-wide song of praise as it cruises across all earth's time zones.

We spend millions of dollars, billions even, trying to preserve ourselves and other stuff. Preservation is excellent … if it’s God doing the preserving.

The question is, “How do we get preserved?” I am afraid that whatever McDonald’s puts in their stuff is not going to work for me. Instead of erasing wrinkles, it grows belly fat.

The Bible says: “The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.”

I’m praying that if the world is still standing a thousand generations from now my descendants will still be serving the Lord and doing His will on the earth. And I pray desperately they will have some stories about me to boost them up to where God wants them to be.

Enfin, je me suis retrouvé debout, avec la canette dans ma main et le fond de cet élixir magique. Je l’ai porté à mes lèvres, j’ai fermé les yeux et c’était comme si j’avais une vision. J’ai vu/goûté les nuits chaudes du sud des USA, le baseball, la nourriture mexicaine, ma famille, le football… tout ce que j’aimais était contenu dans cette petite gorgée.

Jesus n’est pas seulement la révélation de Dieu, pas seulement une belle métaphore. Il est tout ce que Dieu est. La foudre en bouteille si vous voulez.

The Big Bang Theory (which I think is actually the Big Word of God reality) speculates that all existence was once compressed in a tiny thing the size of a pencil lead. For some "unknown" reason it “exploded” and in a Nanosecond the vast majority of existence was created.

The incarnation of Jesus, when He came to us, was the “Big Bang” in reverse. All the fullness of God was concentrated in Jesus. All that God is, dwells in Jesus. Like lightning in a bottle!
