The God Men | Session Three

The God Men | Session Three

The Christian life is really about grasping two concepts: our adoption into God’s family.. and our purpose in God’s plan to restore his kingdom on earth. We are, and will be, God’s new divine council. "Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord's"(Obadiah 1:21) Among our high privileges is to radiate, to give forth from the love passion of our souls the courage and strength to help other souls to come to God. And the business of the Church is to be a savior, or saviors. "Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left; (1 Kings 22:19). "The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones…" (Daniel 4:17). The three rebellions 1) The Fall (Gen 3) - the origination of both the heavenly and earthly rebellion into this world 2) The Fallen Sons of God (Gen 5). The Sons of God event has either been ignored or demythologized. 3) The Tower of Babel (Gen 11) "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord". (Romans 6:23)  When the Messiah came, He would solve all three of them – not just one. Jesus is the Solution to the Three Rebellions. "Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:4). It was always God’s plan for people to multiply and spread across the Earth. He commanded it of Adam (Gen 1:28) and restated it to Noah (Gen 9:1). Yet in Genesis 11:1-9 it is man’s refusal to scatter, and his plan instead to settle and establish his name over that of God, that results in God’s scattering of the nations. 'When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.' (Deuteronomy 32:8. )The notion that different nations were allotted to different gods or heavenly beings was widespread in the ancient world. "After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go" (Luke 10:1). "And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them..”(Matthew 28:18-19). Hebrew is also like English in that, as a rule, it does not tolerate the definite article to precede a proper personal name. I am not “The Chris” but “Chris.” "And the angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose [ śāṭān ] you [lit., “I have come as a śāṭān ”] because your way is perverse before me.” (Num 22:32). Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. (1 Chronicles 21:1). Again the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.” (2 Samuel 24:1). Not only are we like God in some way, but we are also like the divine beings of his council. Christian, you will be made divine, like one of God’s elohim children, like Jesus himself (1 John 3:1–3). The most common is glorification. Peter referred to it as becoming “partakers of the divine nature” “Unto all righteousness” (Matthew 3:15) becoming like Christ Himself, a demonstrator of the righteousness of the living God. That is Christianity, and that only is Christianity, for that was the consecration of the Christ himself. There is an ultimate note into the heart of the Christian. It is the note of conscious victory through Jesus Christ. The more our life is tuned to that note of conscious victory, the greater the victory that will be evidenced in our life.

The God Men | Session Two

The God Men | Session Two

Jesus gave you the legal right to use His name. And the first thing He tells you to do is to cast out demons. The first thing. JGL

The devil is the opposer, and if the devil reigns over the sinner, the sinner cannot do anything. It is your business to break His power. sickness is called SIN IN THE FLESH. JGL

Christian theologians focus on the fall of man in the Garden. Jewish theologians see Genesis 6 as the fall 2.0.

When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. Genesis 6:1-2

The watchers’ willful confusion of the created order has had its inevitable results…. Because of their dual nature, the giants are both eradicable and immortal. On the one hand, the body of their flesh can die. On the other hand, their spirits have continued existence…. Because they were begotten on earth, these spirits must remain on earth. Here they constitute an empire of evil spirits who wreak all manner of havoc on the human race.

The birth of the Giants is explored in terms of the mingling of “spirits and
flesh.” Angels properly dwell in heaven, and humans properly
dwell on earth but the nature of the Giants is mixed.

The Book of Enoch tells the story of heavenly beings mingling with humankind.

And they all answered him and said, "Let us all swear an oath, and let us all bind one another with a curse, that none of us turn back from this counsel until we fulfill it and do this deed." 5 Then they all swore together and bound one another with a curse. And they were, all of them, two hundred, who descended in the days of Jared onto the peak of Mount Hermon..

The term “Watchers” is a biblical one. The Watchers (Aramaic: ʿirin)[3] appear only in the book of Daniel in the Bible (Daniel 4:13, 17, 23), where they are also called “holy ones.” In Daniel, they are therefore “good” members of God’s entourage.
    .
Enoch was the first to be taken to heaven, joining God and the divine council as a man (Genesis 5:24)

And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." Genesis 6:2-3

The Bible is the most quoted book in history, but the Bible also quotes other writings. The Book of Enoch is one of those writings.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. Genesis 6:4

New Testament demons were disembodied Watcher spirits released from the bodies of Nephilim giants.

Nephilim ought to be understood as “giants.” the Hebrew word was translated in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the old testament) as “gigos” or giants.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis-6:5 (ESV)

And the Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. Genesis 6:6 (ESV)

Reversing cosmic upheaval required something greater than the law. It required a Messiah whose atoning death would ripple throughout the cosmos, healing the entire creation. The birth, death, and resurrection of the Son of God reconciles all things, whether on earth or in heaven and holds the entire creation together.

Jesus Christ never wasted His time establishing mere morality. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, declared IMMORTALITY. JGL

The birth of God’s son in Galatians offers legitimate sonship to humanity to counteract the transgression of the Watchers and their bastard sons who terrorize the earth.

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, Galatians 4:4
