Being and Indie author, you have to find all the answers for yourself. I have come across resources in all forms that have guided me on my path thus far. This process is also a little isolating and I want other Indies to know that they aren't alone in their struggles. I will be sharing my experiences in publishing, writing and learning the craft of being an author.

When the story has gone wrong
I apologize for the periodic static on the recording. I'll work on that before next week. Thanks for you understanding.
Writing is not easy. Building a world and story can be affected by so many things, including the writer's mood or life experiences at the time. Often these things can distract from the story the author is trying to tell. For me, I not sure what it was that got me so off track from my original plot, but it has me doing some serious backtracking. This weeks podcast explains what happened to me when I realized I wasn't telling the right story in my novel.

My process is valid
Everyone has their own way of doing things. There is no need to conform to a certain process or formula in order to reach your writing goals. This episode outlines how I came back the roots of the way I write and what I've learned trying to follow a different path that didn't quite work for me.

Self Marketing Guilt and overcoming it.
This week I'll talk about how social media marketing is a necessary evil of being and Indie author. You have to sell the books yourself, and that might actually bother some people. I had to move past that if I want the world to know that I've created a work and put it out into the world.

Stealing Time
It's hard to govern your time in a way that allows you to be both productive in life and in your writing career. Too often it means taking time away from tasks that really need your time and attention. In this episode, I will speak on how I steal time where I shouldn't, where I can, and whenI steal time from myself.

Hey wait, I did accomplish something last year.
The way we define success is very personal. I considered myself a failure because I didn’t complete my big goals last year. The truth of the matter: I did meet several goals they were just small ones.

Being an indie author is not easy. It's especially hard when you allow the outside would to distract and pull you away from you goal. This episode out lines my realization about myself and my plan to get back on track with my projects.
