After a difficult and disconnected childhood, Chris Huzau joined the Marine Corps and was invited to work for the NSA and CIA. His body eventually broke down requiring him to have back surgery at 23 years old. He suffered from addiction to opiates which eventually prompted his breakthrough, detox, and spiritual awakening. He left the security of the military and his old life behind and began following his heart for the first time. This led him on an incredible adventure to ultimately discover the healing power of sacred plant medicine.

After spending 15 years as a Marine in the Special Forces and infantry divisions including combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, Gabriel came home and sat still for the very first time. This led to a series of both other and inner-worldly experiences one could refer to as a "spiritual awakening" leading him to remember not only where he came from, but who he is on the most fundamental level.

Schuyler shares the story of how he went from working as a socially disconnected Electrical Engineer at the world's largest automation company to now living the life of fulfillment and connection within a tightknit community.
This transition included a deadly health scare and relationship breakdown, which led him to taking empowered steps in order to change his destiny. 

Schuyler is a Steward of Connection Through Compassion and The ONE Local Foundation. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and he has dedicated most of his life to learning how to optimize the flow of energy in complex systems.
