In his long career, U.S. Army Lieutenant General Mark Hertling (Ret.) has met and worked with presidents, monarchs, and military leaders from around the world. But he has also faced times of great adversity, including life-and-death combat situations, and moments that require the courage to “speak up for what’s right.” Mark Hertling currently serves as adjunct professor of strategic leadership at the Crummer School, and provides leadership development to physicians in healthcare organizations.
