    Episode 3: E. Ashley Green

    Episode 3: E. Ashley Green

All of us have the dream of getting that “one-shot”, the one opportunity where we get to prove ourselves to the world about our talent.  For Elizabeth Ashley Green, it was a mistake.  After running from her broadcast TV career, Elizabeth found herself a “starving artist”. She could paint and make money here and there, but it wasn’t as consistent as she would have liked.  So, she took a photograph.  That photograph got a lot of responses, so she started doing more.  Then a potential person who could have been her next portrait stopped the momentum. She declined Ashley's offer to create artwork from her photograph.   This situation would have stopped other photographers, but it didn’t stop Ashley. In fact, she turned that negative situation into a profitable business.  Find out what she did in the next episode of the Achieve Success Podcast.

    Here are some highlights:

Elizabeth’s journey from TV work to a starving artist to photography BOSS.
The negative situation that shifted Ashley into an entirely different career and business.
How Ashley is destroying the “starving artist” concept by doing business the right way.
Breaking barriers as a Black female photographer.
    Dealing with negative clients.
The mentor that helped Elizabeth upgrade her photography skills.

    Episode 1: Rod Laws

    Episode 1: Rod Laws

For most of us, college was the assumed answer to the “What are you going to leave high school?” question.

Yet, as Nathaniel Holmes shares in his interview with Rod Laws, the answer is much bigger than that. It’s not just about getting a piece of paper anymore.

It’s about finding your abilities and matching it to the right opportunity.

Rod Laws mastered this principle early, even though he encountered many challenges along the way. As a child, he did not speak until he was 5. He grew up in an area where people that lived where he lived didn’t make it.

    They became statistics.

    Rod Laws became an exception.

Not only did he graduate high school and college to follow his childhood dream of becoming an educator, but he also became the owner of multiple businesses in addition to getting licensed as an insurance agent in addition to starting a tutoring side hustle during the COVID-19 crisis.

This episode will dive into how Rod got there and his plans for the next better version of himself.

Along the way, Nathaniel and Rod drop tips on how to overcome obstacles in your path to a better self including:

    Finding your way after college
    Tapping into your big WHY
How to turn rejection into feedback for your future success
    Overcoming big disappointments
    Getting financially free
Developing the confidence to conquer anything

Tune in if you’re a person trying to figure how to start (or rebuild) your life and the steps a real-life hero did to unleash his best self along the way
