    If a golfer retires, do they really retire? When I spoke with Michelle Wie West, she explained that golf is as much a fun pursuit as it is a competitive endeavor.

    But Michelle Wie West has been busy since effectively retiring from weekly competition in the LPGA. For one, she is now a parent, but she's also been gardening, mentoring young players and promoting her latest investment endeavor with beverage brand Casa Azul.

    We wrapped up our conversation by reminiscing over celebrities she's met and one she can never forget—Adam Sandler. Michelle expressed her appreciation for the sport and explained in her own words why golf is so fun.
