This is Episode 1.
Today, I got to chat with my favorite coffee place here in Hillsboro, Oregon - Bella Sorelle. 
Bella is a small, family run coffee "hut" as I call these sort of shops. And, before I moved to the Pacific Northwest, I don't think I ever noticed this type of business. But now, for me - it's a necessity!
The beverages they make are certainly important and I'll admit, who knows if I would have kept going back if they didn't do those well - but they make my most favorite drinks - so I've been going back for over 10 years now!
The crew there is mostly family, as Nikki has said, and I'm willing to bet they have found a way to balance the demands of business with a family dynamic that many cannot make happen. For me, they have found a way to make ME feel like part of the family so - beyond the coffee being great - they have my vote to keep coming back for their beverages.

Me: Hot (drinkable) Large Americano, Heavy Cream, Sugar Free Hazelnut & Sugar Free Vanilla
My Wife: Hot Large Coffee with Extra Heavy Cream in winter and Large Cold Brew with Extra Heavy Cream in Summer
Teenager: Large Blended Caramel Macchiato
Little Kiddos: Root Beer Italian Sodas with lots of Whipped Cream
