    Jordan Williams and Piper Simpson

    Jordan Williams is one of the youngest Level 3 Performance Coaches with Athletics Australia, and specialises in coaching Junior athletes of all levels. His Sydney based Squad, "Up And Running" boasts some of the best Junior Athletes in Australia with State and National Champions and Medal winners in Track, Cross Country, Surf Lifesaving and Triathlon.

    Piper Simpson has been a member of the Up And Running Squad for the past 4 years. The middle distance specialist is a twice National Champion in both 800m and 1500m events. Off the track, Piper was the Gold Medalist at the 2020 NSW Cross Country Long Course Championships, and she is the recipient of numerous Community Sports Awards.

    In this episode, we talk to Jordan and Piper about their coach/athlete dynamic, Jordan's approach to coaching young runners, and how to maintain a strong positive attitude towards training and racing.

    Jarrod Shoemaker

    Jarrod Shoemaker is an American Olympic triathlete. He is the 2009 ITU Duathlon World Champion. At the 2014 World Triathlon Championships in Edmonton, he made history by becoming the highest male finish for an American triathlete at a World Championship event. He competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

    In this episode, we break down the Tokyo 2020 Olympics triathlon races, his own experiences racing at the Olympic level, and the future of triathlon racing.

    Clari Lehmkuhl is a South African Zumba instructor and fitness role model who lives in Abu Dhabi.

    When you see Clari on the stage leading her classes with such energy and passion, you wouldn’t guess that she has Down Syndrome. She has become a prominent speaker in the community advocating for inclusion. 

    In this episode, we discuss Clari's experience competing in tennis at the 2019 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi, her Zumba journey from beginner to instructor, and her involvement with Bare Face modeling.

    Dave Wilkinson

    Dave Wilkinson

    Dave Wilkinson is a run coach at Thames Valley Harriers, one of the top athletics clubs in the UK, where he won Coach of the Year in 2020. Back in the day, he trained with British Olympic champion Linford Christie. More recently, he has represented Team GB at the Athletics European masters championships. Dave currently coaches a middle/long distance track group with athletes from age 15 to veterans, affectionately known as ‘Dave’s Babes’. 

    In this episode, we discuss his time as an athlete, how training and coaching has evolved over the years, and relative energy deficiency in sport.
