As we've continued talking through receiving God's gifts of newness, steadfastness and accountability, it is only right that we conclude our season by talking about God's greatest gift - the gift of grace. It's hard to embrace grace. Especially when we set the bar high for ourselves. But the fact remains that, because of our sinful nature, we will fall short at some point. But it is in those moments when God's grace becomes real to us and we are reminded that it is the righteousness of Christ that makes us complete and holy - not because of anything we have done. And we can continue to get back up with hope, knowing that His waves of grace are always coming to lift us back up.

Having accountability is God's great grace to us, because it means that we are never walking through life alone. And accountability is not just welcoming people into your life to call you out on your sin. It's having friends who you can do life with, people who can encourage you and help you bear your burdens. Even Jesus had 12 friends that He did everything with. So let's talk about how we can be more like Jesus in welcoming godly people into our journeys.

As we've been diving into the idea of newness, one of our desires each year (other than our resolutions) is just to remain consistent. We all desire consistency! However, in this episode, we'll talk about the difference between being "consistent" and the biblical perspective of being "steadfast". Because understanding the difference can be a major game changer in pursuing your hopes and goals for the year.

We all desire newness. A clean slate. A fresh start. Every year we set goals and have new aspirations to become the best version of ourselves. But how much more transformed would our lives be if we reached FIRST for Jesus? What if we fought to find our renewal FIRST in Jesus? In this episode we talk about the newness that Christ offers us every single day in Him.

We all have moments when "believing" is hard. But the Magi (or Wise Men) set a great example for us in this; that when we don't know what to believe, God reveals His presence to us in the things that He has made [Romans 1:20]. The Wise Men saw a star, heard of a prophecy and decided to explore whether these things were true. And on their journey to find the truth, they found a newborn King and stepped into an eternal belief in God's redemption story.
God places "Bethlehem Stars" all around us and is constantly drawing us deeper to Himself. See how God moves the Wise Men in this part of our Christmas series.
