Nick Stageberg is the CEO of Black Swan Real Estate and an entrepreneur at heart. Before entering the real estate world, Nick enjoyed a highly successful career in enterprise software. His first startup grew from securing $13 million in venture capital to a $100 million private equity sale over nine years. He then helped the Mayo Clinic establish a software development startup, eventually leading 13 engineering teams within three years. Meanwhile, Nick and his wife Elaine built a real estate portfolio that evolved into Black Swan Real Estate. Andrew Dressel is an accomplished attorney and real estate investor. After teaching history in Edison, New Jersey, he graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2008. He began his legal career at Boies, Schiller & Flexner in 2011 and founded his own firm in 2018, focusing on commercial litigation, corporate, and securities law. Andrew and his wife started investing in real estate in 2016, expanding to over 200 units across several states by 2021. With eight years as a Deputy U.S. Marshal followed by six years as a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations in New York City, Philip's journey into real estate began after diving into "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" on the advice of a supervisor. Starting with a duplex in 2015, he quickly scaled to an eight-unit building and diversified his investments into syndications. Discovering single-tenant net leases in 2020 led him to Joel Owens of NNN Invest, where a 1031 exchange transitioned his residential holdings. Now as Director of Acquisitions, Philip focuses on core+ properties and value-add opportunities, leveraging his law enforcement background to provide stable income and equity growth for investors, inspired by real estate podcasts during his commute.
