Are We There Yet?- A Conversation With Comedian Jeff Allen

Are We There Yet?- A Conversation With Comedian Jeff Allen

It is a privilege to have as my guest on The March or Die Show, Stand Up Comedian Jeff Allen! I have enjoyed Jeff's comedy over the years (he has a great special on Dry Bar Comedy), but have only recently heard his personal story of addiction, a marriage headed for divorce, and the incredible power of a relationship with Jesus. This is an interview that provides hope for those who are struggling and a wonderful picture of what God can do when we yield our lives to him. I am thankful to Jeff for coming on and know that this episode is one you will want to share with your friends and family.

    Choose Life-Why Memorials Matter

As we consider the importance of the Memorial Day Holiday, we really need to think about why memorials are so important. While we need to honor those who have paid the price for our freedoms, we also need to build memorials of other significant events in our lives that can help to guide us forward. Why are memorials so important and how do we build them into our lives? Find out today on The March or Die Show!

Talking Politics and Religion Without Hating Each Other

Talking Politics and Religion Without Hating Each Other

We have been told that the two topics we should never discuss are politics and religion. But is that true? Of course not! Despite the fact that the loudest voices in society tell us to keep our thoughts and opinions to ourselves, we need to learn how to have meaningful, important discussions without hating those with whom we disagree. Today and The March or Die Show I have the privilege of interviewing Corey Nathan who is the host of the "Talkin' Politics and Religion" podcast about the best way to have important conversations. This interview was both practical and helpful and one that you can put to use today. Don't be afraid to have the hard conversations-just have them in a way that allows everyone involved to benefit.

    The Disciple Dilemma

    The Disciple Dilemma

What does it really mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? Those that have been around church for any length of time, have undoubtedly heard the term or even been a part of the process called "discipleship". But what does it really mean to be a disciple and how does that apply to our lives today?

My guest on The March or Die Show today is Dennis Allen. Dennis has a diverse background  having served as six-time Chief Executive Officer specializing in “turnarounds” for Wall Street-backed corporations. Dennis works and speaks with businesses, universities, churches, and conferences focusing on leadership and discipleship. Dennis serves today on boards, in business and charity leadership roles. As well as his efforts in churches of all sizes – megas, mids, and startups – as an elder, deacon, and teacher. A combat-rated Air Force F-15 fighter pilot, and an alumnus of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics.

Throughout his career Dennis has been involved in a number of churches and has noticed a disturbing trend: Many Christians and regular church attendees are either unable or unwilling to share their faith outside of the walls of their church! This has led to an alarming percentage of young people walking away from the faith that was a part of their growing up lives. These observations along with a mountain of research supporting these findings led Dennis to write the book, "The Disciple Dilemma."

This is an extremely important conversation for every follower of Christ and for anyone seeking to understand how we can TRULY impact the world around us with the Hope of a relationship with God.
