Since then we've both started YouTube channels, spent way too much of our lives on social media, and found niches that work for us. We're going to share secrets that people don't know about travel influencers, share stories of disastrous reviews, and offer up tips and advice for anyone starting out who would like to be a travel influencer. 

Today I'm having a chat with Zara Janjua and would love for you to be there. Imagine us at an airport bar somewhere. Both of our flights are delayed and we are going to shoot the shit, swapping stories including our first memories of exotic family holidays when we were little girls. A summer job in Spain, which Zara and I have both had but they ended very differently. 
I met Zara Janjua on a flight from Thailand to Malaysia in 2018 and have followed her in awe ever since. She’s an award-winning broadcast and radio presenter for well-known channels like BBC. In fact, Zara won a spot in the BBC Comedy Writer's Room 2020 and has been shortlisted for the Funny Women Comedy Writing Award 2020. She’s a podcaster, documentary film director, comedian, writer and an advocate for equality, women's rights and mental health … and just an all-around joy to listen to. I’m proud to welcome Zara as my first fabulous female storyteller today! Trust me, you are in for a real treat.

Neilas Katinas is a World Champion ballroom dancer and a judge on the popular dance show ROJO in Chile ... and WOW does he have an amazing story to tell about life as an expat and how speaking Spanish changed his life. Come along as Neilas shares his path from a choreographer in Lithuania to Germany, Spain and now Chile, finding success, love, and a new career along the way.

I've been friends with Neilas since 2005 when we were living around the corner from each other in the picturesque seaside village Sitges in Spain. We'll share tales of our nights spent dancing 'til dawn and sometimes well into the next day. 

Welcome! I'm the host Angela Carson, a location independent single mom from California with 2.4 million views on YouTube. At 21, I dropped out of uni to travel Mexico solo. I’ve explored 37 countries, living in Spain, the US, and India with my daughter, then China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and currently Indonesia as an empty nester.
