We are going to review and talk about every song Billy Joel has ever written. We had the idea to do this podcast because we wanted to talk about "Zanzibar," but, unfortunately we decided to go through Billy Joel's catalog alphabetically, so expect our "Zanzibar" discussion in two years. Every episode we do a deep dive into a particular song. We talk rankings, make fun of Billy's hilarious music videos, tell funny stories, and do trivia and song parodies too.

This is it: The last song in the alphabet by Billy Joel. Today is Zanzibar. The absolute fan favorite off of 1978's 52nd Street. Elon and Dave find out today that the song is about a sports bar and not some exotic place in Tanzania. It kind of ruins the song a little bit BUT, it still grooves so. . . join the boys today on their final song episode - and remember - when we started this podcast a new song wasn't even a hope of thought but . . . times have changed in Billy Joel world. The Cold Spring Harbor Album was released November 1, 1971 and holds 2 songs that have been Billy Joel staples over the years. She's Got A Way is how we all may have discovered Billy Joel but Everybody Loves You Now has, now that he has relaxed on the horrors of this album's release, become a concert staple. This is an incredibly interesting album in how it shaped Billy Joel's career and holds some hidden gems that he should think about revisiting.
