“All the set, it's a mixture of traditional Mexican songs like very romantic, with this like kicks of club music; and like for me, this is like a love mixtape and how I have been experiencing love. It has been like this mixture of like violence and affection, at the same time. So I found it funny that this is what came up with in the video.” - La Veinte Uñas

"TDZ explores the potential in the abundance of discarded clothing and materials, much of which is shipped to developing countries like the Dominican Republic when they're no longer of "value" in the US. Recontextualizing what is valuable and what is useful by bringing to light and giving a new life post and pre-consumer materials." [excerpt from online story: chew-magazine.com]

Self-taught, portrait photographer and director Caique Nascimento was born in Madre de Deus, a small island in Bahia. Caíque began photographing at the age of 13 as a way to "externalise his feelings". At 17, he had one of his photos chosen by Creative Debuts, London's artistic community, and exhibited in an English gallery, The Black and White Building - being the only Brazilian chosen to exhibit. His work was included in galleries of countries such as Italy and France.
At the age of 18, Caique had already published works in several portrait magazines around the world. At 20, he produced his first great work for Puma and Palmeiras (Wherever it is green), photographing celebrities such as Galvão Bueno, Sabrina Sato, Duda Beat and Mari Gonzalez.
Caíque also had some of his photos chosen by the team of curators of PhotoVogue, a North American photographic platform curated by photo editors from Vogue Italy. Always seeking his connection with the interior and simple things of everyday life, Caíque follows his journey now as a stage director, in addition to continuing to develop his work as a still photographer.

    Bimbo Radio Episode 6

    Bimbo Radio Ep 6

Is a celebration of the environments and culture in which these sounds are created. It is reminiscent of a weekend of soaking our melanin in the sun with the tropical breeze massaging our faces.

The mix starts like a Friday night where you're twisting hips in Brazil to the infectious drums of Baile Funk. The heart of Episode 6 features tracks such as “Timbalda's Motumba”, and “Mo Ho Sem”( by Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band); a “Sunday morning at your grandmother’s, as she's prepping some of your cultures favorite dishes, bouncing to a fusion of Highlife, and Samba with an undertone of South Africa's GQOM... Episode 6 closes the weekend with a Nigerian artist, WavytheCreator with her feel-good house track “Shaku” - leaving you feeling airy and rejuvenated for the new week to come.
