The Conservative win raises questions about the political future of Justin Trudeau. And: Canadians are being squeezed by rising prices. That cost of living crisis got a little worse last month. Statistics Canada reports the annual rate of inflation ticked up unexpectedly. Prices rose by 2.9 per cent in May… and that just may force the Bank of Canada to rethink interest rate cuts. Plus: Kenya’s capital Nairobi is in chaos. Thousands of protesters have stormed parliament and set fire to parts of it during widespread public backlash against tax increases.

Plus: The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce has one idea to ease what it says is a lack of workers in the province… Allow 13-year-olds to get a job. The group is asking the government to lower the minimum legal age to work.
