In Conversation: Fresh Daily
Fresh Daily is an Oakland based Hip-Hip recording artist & graphic designer hailing from Brooklyn's legendary Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Over the course of Fresh Daily's long career in Hip-Hop he has been responsible for the creation of what are, in my opinion, two of the most iconic musical releases of hip-hop's mythic blog era. Those projects, Mothership/Land and The Quiet Life, were formative and world expanding soundscapes that found me at the right time of my youth, grabbed me, and never let go. In our conversation we touched upon everything from how he navigated COVID with his community to NYC streetwear, Afro-centricity, and of course, Hip-Hop. We caught up shortly after the release of his highly-anticipated project, The Quiet Life 2, Needless to say, sitting down with Fresh was one of the coolest moments of my life so far and I hope you all enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

In Conversation: Adriana McCassim
LA based Indie Folk-Rock singer-songwriter Adriana McCassim joins us today to talk about the creation of her debut EP, Quiet Sides. Adriana has been compared to a young Sharon Van Etten, by the Indie Rock queen herself and draws inspiration from acts such as Mazzy Star, Courtney Barnett, and more. Our chat brings us every where from Mamma Mia to "come-to-jesus" moments seeing Angel Olsen live. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

In Conversation: JAWNZA
JAWNZA is an up and coming hip-hop artist from Tampa Bay, Florida, who has made waves in the underground LA scene with his debut project, FREERADICAL. You may have discovered him through his break out single FACEDOWN, or maybe you saw him burn down the house at The Echo in February. Either way, you're about to learn far more about this polarizing artist. We touch upon topics like the passing of his older brother, The Hero's Journey, and how Janet Jackson gave him his start. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I do!
