And so, you know, the only reason I've been able to be like stand where I've stood and be where I am is because people have prayed for me.”

If you trust you have to live with open hands, and when you do that there is a joy there there's a thankfulness there's a there's a living from what you've been given instead of this grasping. When we try to just run after things that don't belong to us like you get more money, but it doesn't make you happier. If I just had more, I would feel more joy which is not the case. Jesus invites us into a joy like those are fruits of the spirit Love, Joy, peace, patience, and kindness. Those things come from realizing that life is a gift and setting our hearts and our lives towards Jesus.”

On this episode of I Love That Song Keith Stevens talks with Laura Story about her song “Blessings”. She talks about how in your life a blessing might not always be something you would initially find as a good thing, but over time realizing that God gave you a blessing in a hard situation. 
 
She also shares about how doubt can take over our lives when hard things are going on in life, but God is always there with you. She says, “I have seen wonderful people suffer great loss, but when I look at those people’s lives and see the joy that still exists on their faces, I think to myself, wow, God is real!”
