    39. the Oxford Shooting & the way people process

    39. the Oxford Shooting & the way people process

Hello friends :) it's been a while since I hopped on and had a chat, but I think this topic is one of them where I simply can't filter too much and will be 100 percent genuine. Recently, just about 30 minutes outside of my hometown, there was a shooting at Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan. It has now been about two weeks later, and this will be my sit-down version of how I processed all the happenings these past two weeks. I'll go over my own reactions, my school district and teachers' ways of getting us to both cope and move along, and how everyone has been processing overall. Hopefully this is helpful to some, and I truly mean for this to be a productive conversation - not just something to be brushed over. I'm completely open to hearing any feedback/anecdotes as well, my dms are always open :) hope you enjoy this podcast as much as you could. stay peachy.

    38. Where the Crawdads Sing book review & theme of deep emotional ties

    38. Where the Crawdads Sing book review & theme of deep emotional ties

    TW: mention of abuse.

Mini book review!! Honestly, this was really fun and the book was such a good read, but it really does get you thinking about the kind of relationships you may have with others, both on a physical and emotional level. Where the Crawdads Sing was probably one of the better written newer novels I've been able to read, and it was a good thing I actually enjoyed it considering I had to write a whole essay on it as well. Hopefully this podcast is also nice for my outside-of-APs listeners. enjoy :)

    37. Mini-pod: feeling burnt out and the fall rolling around

Shorter podcast episode, just an outlet of feelings about school and the lack of ideas for podcasting lately. Nothing wrong with not having any ideas, but it's also good to talk it out sometimes :) come and sit with me, hope you guys enjoy this little rambling sesh !!

    36. Start of senior year recap and my senior bucket list!!

    36. Start of senior year recap and my senior bucket list!!

Starting senior year has been strange to say the least - I really did not miss getting pushed and shoved in the hallways. Nonetheless, it is really amazing being back in-seat and in school again, and I think the best way to share this experience is letting you in on how it's gone these past few weeks and where my life has been going lately. This includes sharing my senior bucket list, which has a giant mix of things I hope to do before going off to college and even before the 2021 year ends. Hope you all enjoy this episode, and who knows - maybe one of these list tidbits, you'll be able to help me out with :) -julianne
