In this podcast I am reciting a poem by Alice Walker: The Taste of Grudge, from her book, “Hard Times Require Furious Dancing.” —- grief and forgiveness is the lesson I’ve been given, which was once so heavy I had come to a full stop ... the teachings of my lesson are constantly appearing, this poem granted me the words to express that I am on the other side of what once was a space of deep healing from parental abandonment. I am Love and will always be Love. “We were not meant to suffer so much & to learn nothing.”
