Let me introduce you to my friend, DeAnna Rogers. At one point, she was a single mom diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Not only did she meet and marry the man of her dreams and win out over cancer, but she helped create this "little thing" called Traffic & Conversion Summit with the guys over at Digital Marketer. 
Here's a bit more about her story in her own words:

In the past twenty years, I have owned several of my own successful businesses. When diagnosed with cancer, I took a long look at what I wanted to do and realized that my job was not done yet. I became stronger and more determined to make an impact in the community. I am not afraid of adversity and truly believe that challenges are just “stepping stones” toward success.
