NICOLA CORREIA DAMUDE: Women, Weight and Realising your Worth

NICOLA CORREIA DAMUDE: Women, Weight and Realising your Worth

Ever heard of a little show called The Boys? How about Shadowhunters? Or maybe even Resident Alien? Well today I am thrilled to be joined by a familiar face to screens worldwide; actress, activist and all round wonderful human being Nicola Correia-Damude.
This is an extremely special episode to me because not only was it the first face to face interview I’ve done in what feels like forever, but it was also filled with laughs, tears and beautiful spontaneous anecdotes from the wonderful Nicola. We talk all things from self acceptance and learning to like yourself, to the toxicity of the film industry while battling a lifetime of disordered eating.
Memorable First: The first time Nicola realised she liked herself
First she wants: For an entire day to go by where she didn't think badly about her body.
First she wished she never had: Tragically losing her Aunt.

    LISTENER STORIES: Memorable Firsts

If you’re a frequent listener of this podcast you’ll know that every week I bring on a guest to talk about a memorable first they’ve had, a first they want to have and a first they wish they’d never had... This week I wanted to focus a listener stories episode all around the 'Memorable Firsts' you guys have had; from the first time you met your partner, to the first time you ran away from home, first break-up, first concert or even perhaps the first time you shat yourself as an adult....
Joining me to bring even more nostalgia, sentimental stories and all the laughs is the the legendary podcaster and someone I'm lucky enough to call a close friend, Taylor James from the Waffle Shop Podcast.
If you fancy taking a rip down memory lane and reminiscing on those all important coming of age moments then definitely give this one a listen.

CATHAIR CURRAN (KEGS): Curating Curiosity & The Stigma Around Spirituality

Today’s guest is the charming Irishman, blogger and globe trotter Cathair Curran - or perhaps better known to you guys as Kegs. You might know him from his TikToks, but after you give this ep a listen you’ll get to know him a whole lot better…
Memorable First: The first time he felt accepted
First he wants: To start his own business
First he wished he’d never had: Having half his ear sliced off...
We talk all things from the stigma surrounding spirituality, to the universe's 'plan' and how perhaps we can only really regret what happens to us, as opposed to the decisions we make for ourselves.
