Bio

Bryce entered the BMS industry in 1998, after studying Electronic Engineering and specialising in process instrumentation and controls. He has extensive experience working in South Africa, the UK and Australia.

Bryce believes building automation is not what it was 20 years ago. Manufacturer’s product training is suitable for the basic installation and maintenance of a BMS. That was probably okay when comfort control was all customers cared about. Just installing and keeping equipment running is no longer acceptable as building owners’ expectations increase to meet climate change initiatives such as NetZero, building’s energy efficiency rating systems, and ESG reporting.

Bryce is working to change the BMS sector via his training courses and YouTube channel.
