This podcast is about what folks can start doing now to set themselves above their competition during their job search. According to Mark Cuban in an interview with the local CBS affiliate in Dallas, TX, Mark is quoted as saying that “Getting a job gives you a platform to really pay [your] bills, but learn something and maybe find that you’re really good at a new industry,” Cuban told CBS. “I got a job in computers because I couldn’t get a job anywhere else and it turned out pretty well.” He also mentioned that the questions that will now be asked in an interview are..."What have you learned from the Pandemic and what skills have you acquired?". This podcast talks about the ways in which folks may qualify for a training grant through their local unemployment office and how to go about getting approved for it. Also in this podcast, we also discuss how to be proactive in these uncertain times when it comes to job placement and the resources that are out there to help.

A Story of Hardship to helping others
This is my first podcast. Someone told me I should do this so I can help others just by telling stories of not only my struggles through foreclosure, divorce, IRS Audit, layoff all at the same time, but how I pushed through it to help others in similar situations find their purpose and happiness in their journey. Join me in the next episodes to follow while I interview my students who were mostly middle aged women going through life altering situations and how they persevered.
