    Build A System
    One of the biggest mistakes you can make, is to generate leads and ask for referrals, before you have systems in place to handle the volume. Adrianna experienced this mistake first-hand when she went out to create business, but didn't have the ability to properly serve the leads that came in from her efforts. It is essential that you have very detailed systems in place to handle every lead from the first interaction to the closing so you don't experience the heartache she did.
    Establish Roles & Expectations
    Once you have created systems and workflow for every loan, you need to establish roles and expectations for each role. As Adrianna says, "you need to be able to inspect what you expect" from your team. To do that, you need to have very detailed definitions of what will be expected from each team member and a timeline for those expectations.

    One of the best ways that Millionaire Loan Officers can make sure that their team knows what the expectations are, is to go over them line by line, during the onboarding process. Those systems should also be supplemented with step-by-step checklists for what each team member needs to do, with deadlines, for each loan. Checklists that include timelines are very effective in keeping everyone on-track and increasing conversion rates.

    Break The System
    At some point, it becomes important to push your team to the point of being uncomfortable. This can be difficult and can create painful reactions, but breaking the system you have built is instrumental in growth. Until your team knows just how much they can handle, there is too much room for complacency. However, it is always wise to reward your team with what motivates them. Make sure they all feel valued if you want them to continue to accel within your system.

    How do you do that?

    It starts by creating a stellar experience for your referral partners.

    Take the time to understand what your referral partners value in a loan officer. Ask yourself what key things you can do to make sure that every interaction they have with you exceeds their expectations. Consistently treat every meeting, call, point of contact, as your one and only chance to win them as a loyal referral partner.
    The One Activity
    One of the biggest questions I ask everyone that wants to become a Millionaire Loan Officer is "What one activity could you do today to get leads?". Then, I follow up with, "How many times did you do that last week?". As I'm sure you could guess, most people answer "zero".

    If you are serious about finding success and freedom as a Millionaire Loan Officer, you need to get serious about completing your one money-making activity daily.

    Once you know what your "one activity" is, you can easily fill any empty time slots in your schedule with it, to generate more leads. Making the most out of every working minute is one of the most common differences between an average loan officer and a Millionaire Loan Officer.

    Understanding true costs and values will help you define what freedom activities you should perform, and what activities you should delegate or hire out. Many people choose to hire a Business Development Officer (BDO) or Inside Sales Agent (ISA) to generate business. However, as Adrianna shared in this episode of MLO Monday, those roles can actually cost you. She states, having someone in that role can cause complacency in the team and strip them of the thrill of the sale.

    ● Adrianna calls every referral partner that has yet to send her business to chat with them and warm them further. She does this consistently, without fail, until they start to send her referrals.

    ● Her team calls every applicant that has not been approved yet to ensure that they get everything they need (documents and information) to get them there.

    She also shared that there is time blocked-off on the calendar every Monday morning to get these tasks accomplished. It is important that you treat these time blocks as though they are true meetings so you don't interrupt them or put them off for other things. Make these tasks non-negotiable for yourself and your team.
    Always Ask For More

    There is no mystery to why Millionaire Loan Officers get flooded with loan applicants from their referral partners. They make the effort to ask every referral partner for more business and every loan applicant for a referral.     Tracking your goals and your results is very important for identifying weak links in your chain.
    Take a few minutes every day and week to measure what activities have been completed, and what results were generated. This makes it fast and easy to identify why you are experiencing growth or why you aren't.
