    In this episode, we explore the important work done at Lakeview Center Inc., an affiliate of Baptist Health Care, for children and adults who have experienced trauma in their lives. Lakeview offers a range of human services that help people at different stages throughout life’s journey. For many, that journey can be difficult and some of those challenges can be traced back to traumatic experiences they have encountered at some point in their lives. In recent years, a philosophy of care has evolved that is important in the care of those affected by trauma. It’s called Trauma-Informed Care.
