Day 3 Suffering on Your Own Terms

Affirmation: I Choose to live in the face of Suffering

Beware of the 'Easy button' - Glennon Doyle. It is easier to hit the easy button and stay where you are, than change. That’s why most people stay stuck and suffer. But whatever you have been through, you are still here. You always have a choice. To learn the lessons of pain, to change. Fear and pain can be dark, but with a little work, you can find the light again. It was always there.

Please find the journaling entry questions below, and at the end of the meditation, take the time to answer these questions.

What does Pain look like to you? Colour? Name? Person?
What      emotions came up for you today? How long can you live with and in these      emotions?
Take      a moment to give names to these emotions. This way when they come up      again, you can talk to them and let them know they are heard.
What      Pain have you allowed yourself to stay in Suffering for?
What      Suffering are you going to allow to help you change, to live?

Say it with me one more time. 'I CHOOSE TO LIVE IN THE FACE OF SUFFERING.'
