    What "Parts" Of You Sabotage?

    What "Parts" Of You Sabotage?

Today I get to talk about my favorite RTT tool: RFPI (role, function, purpose, intention)!
You know when you say "I want to do it, but a PART OF ME WON'T LET ME"?
We all these "parts" of us.
    And you know what?
We created them, so we can play with them, update them, re-purpose them, or even archive them.
In this podcast episode I talk about it from a conscious point of view - but if you want to take it deeper and explore in the subconscious mind AND update it - check out my online workshop HERE (podcast listeners use coupon code Authentic50 for 50% off).
You can download this week's worksheet HERE.

It might sound strange that the subconscious sabotaging part of you has a positive intention (something I get into more detail about in module 2 of the workshop).
But what you can remember is that you created all the parts of you – you have the control. So you can always decide to update anything you created. This gives you the opportunity and space to do so.

More importantly, it reminds you that there’s no part of you that needs to be called bad.
All your parts were created by you and are trying to serve a positive purpose – but left to the subconscious it may be misguided.
You’re not broken, and you don’t need to be fixed.
But as human beings, we always have the opportunity to update for what will work with us today.

    The Rubber Band Effect

    The Rubber Band Effect

As you're practicing your self-awareness style you might first realize how un-aware you are. And then you might notice it gets harder and you feel "tested". This is good news!
"Tests" are designed to come up before big shifts. It's a sign you're doing it right, going in the right direction.
Here’s what I invite you to do: ask yourself these 3 questions:

    1.    What are your distractions teaching you?

    2.    Who are you becoming in the process?

    3.    What’s the real lesson?
You can download this week's worksheet HERE.

    Build Your Foundation

    Build Your Foundation

In this episode I refer to knowing your own personal self awareness strength – if you’re jumping in at episode 4, you can discover your own self awareness strength by completing my short, free quiz on my website – but I highly encourage you to start from episode 1 as each episode builds on the last, is in a specific order.
In this show I share tips on when to practice your self-awareness style, how to slow down, and how to start looking at this habit we all have - to escape the present moment.

The Shadow Side Of Your Self-Awareness Style

The Shadow Side Of Your Self-Awareness Style

"If you don't have any shadows you're not in the light." ~ Lady Gaga

Today on the podcast I start with a grounding, so if you typically listen to this episode while driving or walking, I recommend you find a cozy seat and settle in for this 20 minutes.
Today is one of my favorite topics: the shadow side.
We each have a self-awareness style. A way we connect to ourselves when we’re stressed and taxed. And we're either doing it in a deliberate, thoughtful way that helps us; or, we are getting sucked into the vortex of automatic, subconscious behavior that leads us to toxic habits and negative outcomes. I call this the shadow side of our self awareness style and that's what today's episode is all about.
“Study me as much as you like, you will not know me, for I differ in a hundred ways from what you see me be. Put yourself behind my eyes and see me as I see myself, for I have chosen to dwell in a place you cannot see.” ~ Rumi
