    5 | The 'Ninety - Ten' Rule

    5 | The 'Ninety - Ten' Rule

This is an awesome concept to apply to your budget if you feel like a budget is restrictive and doesn't give you the freedom to actually live your life the way you want.

I want to open your eyes to the fact that taking control of your finances isn't about restricting yourself and being housebound for 5 years until you save up for that property deposit.

It is about being able to enjoy the journey. Because how can you enjoy life if you are constantly feeling guilty for spending money that should be going towards savings.

    Let me know your thoughts

    BONUS | Rant Time

    BONUS | Rant Time

I really wanted to jump on and share this message today. I felt as though this is something that we need to talk about more! I watched insight last night and it was an eye opener to hearing other peoples financial struggles and it was so interesting to hear. One couple however stood out to me and they came across as quite entitled and I didn't think they were an accurate representation of Millennials. I wanted to share my point of view and give you a new perspective on perhaps the view that you have developed over the years that society has lead you to believe. So listen with an open mind to this little rant episode! The link to the instant gratification episode - http://www.centsofdollars.com/the-instant-gratification-generation/

3 || The Hard Truth About Your Credit Card Debt

3 || The Hard Truth About Your Credit Card Debt

Don't get me wrong,  I absolutely love credit cards.

But they need to be used responsibly. Unfortunately though, we aren't taught how to handle this from a young age. So chances are when you turned 18, you were presented with the opportunity to have access to anywhere up to around 15,000 in credit available to you and you took it!!

    I don't blame you!

It was easy. But now you are facing the reality of the decisions that your 18 year old self made.

    I want to help you!

This episode is all about getting yourself out of this debt.

It won't be easy, but I am here to help you!

2 || To Combine or Not To Combine

2 || To Combine or Not To Combine

A great little insight into the way money can impact your relationship even if you don't think it does.

I go a little into my relationship in this episode and share some awkward stories about how to have gotten to the place we are at financially after 4 years of being together.

    Enjoy the Episode!

After listening back I don't think I covered half of what I wanted to so I will most likely be creating another episode soon to cover more and get a few more real life scenarios.

And don't forget to leave comments and feel free to submit any questions that you want me to answer in future episodes as I want to start doing a little Q/A Episode every now and then too. Just shoot me through a DM on instagram @centsofdollars.

I look forward to hearing from you!
