Christian Brown's Interview for Justice Tech Log in Tübingen, Germany Your Visionary Podcast

    • Personal Journals

Here's the interview I did for a new podcast called, Justice Tech Log. It is hosted by Sonja Pfisterer, a student at Tübingen University in Germany. I attended a symposium at the university earlier this year to discuss social justice and emerging technologies.
Below is the bio from the podcast:
The symposium “Social Justice and Technological Futures” took place on 2 and 3 May 2023 at the University of Tübingen, Germany. It was hosted by the International Center for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities (IZEW), the RHET AI Center and the Collaborative Research Centre 923 “Threatened Orders” in cooperation with the EU-funded project WeNet – The Internet of Us.
This podcast episode (3 of 3) features a conversation between Sonja Pfisterer and Christian Brown (founder and CEO, Blimish). Brown is a champion for mental well-being and has launched the Blimish app to make wellness more accessible to regular people. As a participant in the symposium, Brown shares his take-aways and how his own story growing up in Atlanta, USA, relates to questions of social justice. Sonja Pfisterer, creator of the podcast, is a student of Literary and Cultural Theory as well as Philosophy at the University of Tübingen. She works as a research assistant at the IZEW and was involved in the planning and organization of the symposium in Tübingen.
