After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.
Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.
Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Conan needs a hug

I love this side of Conan. Off camera and in an intimate setting with people he admires, Conan ditches the zany goofy performer side and shows his vulnerable sensitive and compassionate side. It's refreshing, I love his tv stuff but as someone who sometimes feels like I have to perform to appear normal I can relate. Always funny, always a great interviewer, always thought-provoking. I just wish Conan would stop being so hard on himself.... and had heard of podcasts 15 years ago!!!!

Brilliant

An excellent, hugely enjoyable Podcast, I just wish they (the podcasts/interviews) went on for longer.

Very funny

Great guests, but it's the interactions between Conan and the producers that's the funniest part for me.
