On this playoff episode of Crusaders Pregame, hosts Zach Marks and Dawson Petryshen cover the first two games of round one taking place in Fort McMurray, and look ahead to the return to the Randy Rosen Rink for games three and four.
Game one was a great challenge for the Cru, as they fell behind 3-1 heading into the final frame but snagged two quick goals and Wyatt Marlow got the overtime winner to take a 4-3 victory. Game two was a different story, as the Cru continued to push but couldn’t take back an early Mob goal and conceded an empty netter to drop the second contest 2-0.
Dawson had an opportunity to chat with Marlow as well as captain Bruce MacGregor on what the team did well and how they can improve heading back home.
