First Guy Accidentally Shot Himself, Second Guy Picked Up The Gun & Ran
The guy who shot himself in a Kroger parking lot is not in as much trouble as his friend who picked up the gun afterwards and ran away to hide it. HE was a felon on parole, and since cops had evidence he had been in possession of a firearm, that's a parole violation.
