Fix Yourself First with Angela Ryan

Fix Yourself First with Angela Ryan

My guest this week is Angela Ryan a retired Pharmacist and has been in Al-anon for 16 years.
She was married to an alcoholic and when she noticed the children were showing unusual signs of stress she realized she had to leave the marriage.
Angela remarried John, who now has 35 years of sobriety. Her teenage son is a well adjusted teenager who has grown up with the power of living with the principles in the 12 step program.
Program language is their family language as they support each other in life and love. Not every family member is involved in recovery however, you can only provide the tools. You can’t force or control others who are on their own path.
Angela spends her spare time as a treasurer for the Connecticut State Nationals organization.

Understanding Destructive Leadership with Karen Perham-Lippman

Karen was the second person I had an interview with so if you want to hear her story, please listen to episode #3.
