Ep 4: Mick Hase I am still learning

    • Careers

My guest on this episode is Mick Hase.

From starting his leadership career at Domino’s pizza, Mick moved into consulting, then set up his own consulting business, Dice Consulting, where he helps companies in three key areas -  strategy, culture and leadership development.

A few life changing events made Mick take the “bull by the horns” as he says himself, and he started saying “Yes” to things.

This leap of faith has seen Mick start Sip4Sip coffee. Sip4Sip is using amazing coffee to impact the world's water crisis by donating water every time they sell coffee. For every week's supply of coffee they sell they donate a week's water supply to an area in need around the world.

He also became a facilitator with Mental Health organisation Livin.org where he shares his own experience of mental health, stress and anxiety.

And his biggest and boldest move – launching  SeventeenX – a movement that started with an idea for a single event based on supporting the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development and ended up in an Australia wide tour in 2019.

On this podcast Mick

talks about how a focus on helping others can be game-changing, when you are motivated by a purpose bigger than yourself
calls BS on a number of issues that he feels we shouldn’t be talking about now
describes freedom as a definition on success in life
