Welp, it finally happened: Onika and Britt cried.  In their most vulnerable and candid episode yet, the ladies welcome one of Brittany's best friends, Hope Alcocer (@hopealcocer.) Hope is an author, entrepreneur and motivational speaker, and recently had an early battle with domestic violence resurface. In every way she communicates and lives, Hope carries an unmatched conviction and level of eloquence and has done the tough work to fully understand and process her experiences with DV. It shows in her commentary on trauma-bonding, self-love and recovery. Don't worry! The taping was a full-on GIRLS NIGHT so the episode is still very funny and equipped with plenty of the usual loud ridiculousness Violently Funny delivers.  But the girls get into it, and if you're comfortable listening, it's an example of the growth that comes from facing your shit head on and making it to the other side.
