Ep 6: The Communist Manifesto with Eoin Heffernan

We’re back! Had a little bit of a break there due to no WiFi and laziness, but let’s get right back into it with a bitta good ole fashioned communism. Myself and Eoin Heffernan chat about how much of the Communist Manifesto is relevant today, what our routes would be if looting came to Dundrum Town Centre, and about our wish for Tripod and 92 to open back up again (if you know, you know). Hope you enjoy!

Ep 1: Vicky Angel with Madi O'Carroll

Ep 1: Vicky Angel with Madi O'Carroll

The first episode of Fiona’s Book Club! In which Madi O’Carroll and I reconnect with our childhoods and the world of Vicky Angel, which, in classic Jacqueline Wilson style is a kiddies book with very adult themes. She taught us a lot, as we’ll discuss. Hope you enjoy!

Best Book Club EVER!!

Fiona is lovely and a joy to listen to. This concept is great. I now feel that I know several books that I’d never even heard of...and I didn’t even have sit in a room with people pretending that I’d read them ...like other book clubs. :) The Jacqueline Wilson episode was really interesting. I had no idea. I had to go to my (now 18 year old) daughter to talk to her about the meaty themes she was reading about in 5th and 6th class.
Please Fiona, do more books. 🙏

A fun, easy, friendly chat!

An easy to listen to, fun chat that dives into the stories of guests favourite book. Needing to read the book isn’t essential as the website gives a full synopsis and I look forward to more. Perfect for a nice walk!
